Spooky fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My spooky-loving 6-year-old and I LOVED building this Lego set together. All the moving parts were a blast to play with once we got the set together. Building this set made us want to buy more of the Mario-themed Lego sets to add onto the collection. Assembly was easy as the book was very clear with picture descriptions, and it took about 2 hours total to complete. Overall, very fun!

Best King Boo Set Yet

Great mansion build and love the character selection, even if it's a bit derivative for someone who owns all the Lego Mario sets. The build does get a bit repetitive and confusing, but not too hard.

Couple Small Issues

Really enjoyed this build. I love that even though it's a play set, it closes up fully and looks nice on display. Two issues: the window lattices need to be handled very gently because they pop out if you touch them. There's one that falls out if I even open the house, so I'm leaving it out permanently. The second issue is that the house doesn't close cleanly at the back. I need to use King Boo to hold the balcony pieces together so it doesn't leave a gap. I'm also not sure why there are only a few balcony rails instead of enough to extend all the way around at least the middle section of the roof, but that's not as big a problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you have kids that love video games this is definitely a great way to get them off and away from that screen and have some fun with their hands

We enjoyed it together. It was a great bonding experience and he loves playing with Legos too so that’s a plus

I received this product for free from Influenster and Lego in exchange for my honest review. I love the Lego brand because the quality is top-notch! The blocks fit together easily and have a nice firm hold. I like the fun look of this haunted mansion. It's got some nice detail in it. I love that the building instructions are easy to understand. More information: Encounter ghostly characters and search for the key to a treasure chest at King Boo’s Haunted Mansion with this LEGO™ Super Mario™ adventure toy playset for kids. Super Fun Lego Set!
