HP- still my favorite printer, with caveats.

This is our third HP laser printer. over the last 31 years. Our first one was bought in 1994. We had tried different inkjet printers, but none were very reliable, and durability was lacking. None lasted more than a year or so. We always came back to HP Laser printers
I like this latest version, except for the ink ( toner) buying system. HP seems to want to have a monopoly on selling VERY expensive toner, so has made it difficult to buy aftermarket toner cartridges, and on some printers, made buying it automatic, as a condition of using their printers. I don't agree with this, even though It is no big thing to me, I don't use a printer often enough to worry about it. However, it irks me that a company would use underhanded schemes like this to make more money, and eliminate competition in the toner marketplace.

The quality of print is very good but the setup is a nightmare. I have used HP printers for years, but this one was most difficult to get working. The setup instructions were not clear. I’m sorry I bought it

Speedy Black and White Printer for Busy Homes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101sdw from an Inkjet printer. Setting this printer was a breeze and has user friendly instructions on connect to HP smart app and Wifi. Build Quality is also pretty good. Size of the printer is little bigger than an typical inkjet printer. So, keep in mind if you are looking for a portable printer. This printer is blazing fast for printing, scanning and copying compared to the my existing Inkjet printer. Inkjet printer might seem cheaper initially but in the long run this laser printer is cheaper.

easy wireless connection and AirPrint, definitely save your time by connecting the machine to your laptop and cellphone.
also really nice to have it in the center of your home. good for your kid to print school information and your WFH wife to all documents from work.
you just feed the paper and it just go !

wifi connecting is really easy with touch screen on board.
I like this machine also our cat love it too.

The printing speed is very fast and make no noisy when printing. The screen is touchscreen and the colored, You can adjust the stand of the screen as well. Recommended for both business and home use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a new printer and my seached stopped here. My HP Laser Jet Pro MFP 3101sdw is my dream come true. The speed of this printer is super fast with 35 pages per minute. I love the auto feed option and now I can scan, print, copy on one device and to top it's wireless so no phone line needed. Some of my documents have 2 sided info and my printer can complete that task as well. This printer was super easy to connect with both my laptop and cell phone. My family is pleased with our new addition and can't wait to share with friends and family.
