Great humidifier

When I first opened the box I thought the humidifier was quite big compared to what I thought. It's much bigger than diffusers. I like how you can put essential oil in this little tray with this padding if you like. But not sure if you have to wash that little padding if you want to change it to another scent. I like how it's filter free so no need to buy extra parts for it. Just have to clean it with vinegar or bleach with water.
The water reservoir holds a lot of water and lasts a long time. I put about 1/4 water and it runs for 4 days, I only turn on during night time. It will also shut off when there are no more water in the tank.
It has 3 mist setting but I prefer the first setting because it looks very "steamy" when it's on higher. I guess it depends on the size of the room. Plus there are 2 mist outlets so the lowest setting was enough for me.
It releases cool mist so it's safe to use around children and pets. It's very quiet at night except when it makes this water sound like water is being drained to the bottom. I sleep fine with it on and kind of helps with my dry mouth problem that I've been having at night nowadays. I had it on for around 8 hours at night and it did not overheat and feel hot.
It would be nice if the humidifier had a timer where you can set it off during sleep so it doesn't have to be turned on all night or wake up just to turn it off. It has a humidity reached control so when there is enough humidity, the mist will stop and starts again when it's low but it doesn't shut off the machine.
Overall, I think the humidifier is great for everyone to use in the family especially during the cold dry season.

A humidifier that offers more

I have been looking for a humidifier for my family and the Honeywell Ultra Plus Cool Mist Humidifier has not disappointed! There are many features that this humidifier comes with that makes it appealing to me. To name a few, it is filter free, has 3 mist settings with adjustable mist outlets and a built in humidity indicator. My personal favourite feature that has stood out the most to me is the essential oil tray!
The instruction manual was very easy to follow for first time set up. The unit is light weight which makes it easy to set up anywhere in the room. Once water is inserted into the tank and locked in by the durable tank cap you are pretty much ready to go! The unit is operated by a touchpad with 4 humidity and 3 mist output settings with light indicators that was easy for me to navigate. The dual directional mist outlets allowed me to direct the mist as needed through out the day. Overall the product has been helpful with keeping my plants happy and our congestion to a minimum. The house is also more peaceful with the smell of essential oils when we need it.
This product would be great for families or single occupant spaces as it has many features that meets several needs. Its easy set up allows anyone to enjoy its benefits and can be moved to different spaces to suit you. If you are looking for a product to help your air quality in your home, this would be a good product to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I was looking for a cool mist humidifier with no filter because I felt that it would be easier to clean, but I worried about how effective and how noisy it might be.
When I used this Honeywell humidifier I liked that it held enough to require very little monitoring. On the high setting, I can barely hear it but I have found that I only need the high setting if I am returning from being away and I want to humidify a larger room quickly. Overnight or in a smaller room I use one of the two lower settings and it is noiseless. The opening to the reservoir is large enough to accommodate a sponge on a handle or my hand to wash it so it looks pretty easy to keep clean over the long run.
Because the mist is cool, I feel comfortable aiming the mist toward plants to keep them from drying during cold snaps when the air is most dry. I also love that it's light and portable so I can move it easily and the shape fits unobtrusively into the decor in any room. It's super and I'm considering buying another one to give to my parents.

Great Quality Cool Mist Humidifier

I was selected to test out the Honeywell Ultra Plus Cool Mist Humidifier. My first impression of this product was that the all black design was very sleek and modern and it has a lot of great features. It is a cool mist humidifier designed for large rooms. It does not require a filter and it very easy to clean. The Honeywell Ultra Plus Cool Mist Humidifier comes with other features including three mist settings, dual direction mist outlets and auto shut off. It also comes with a Humidity Reached Indicator, essential oil feature and Ultra Quiet Operation.
There are a lot of reasons I love this humidifier including the fact that it is designed to run in large rooms. The cool mist feature means I can have this running around little children without having to worry that they will burn themselves. I do not hear it when it runs and it automatically shuts off when the selected humidity level is reached or when it runs out of water. Such a fantastic features. You can change the level of humidity you would like the machine to reach in your room and you can change where the cool mist is going with the Dual Direction Mist Outlet Feature. I love that I do not have to purchase expensive filters for this humidifier. It is also very easy to clean, as the tank where the water is held comes off the base for easy cleaning and has a large opening so you can clean the tank as well.
My only dislike of this product is the fact that when the humidifier is on the highest of the three mist settings, it leaves my floor very wet. On the lowest and middle settings it does not do this. I would not recommend in a room with carpet for this reason, unless you can put something under the humidifier.

Great product that is great for most families

It's quiet and lasts 24 hours on medium setting. It also doesn't use a lot of power like warm mist humidifiers. It can shut down automatically when it reaches the humidity level. One big valuable feature to me is that it doesn't need a filter so I don't have to buy filters. This feature is very important to me because I have seen many news that humidifier with dirt filters would harm our health. With this product I don't need to worry about that and it's easy to clean. Another feature I like is the essential oil tray. I can add the essential oil into the tray to help me in a variety of ways like during sleep or meditation. I think this product is great for most families that have heat in the house during Winter. Great product overall! I love it!

Loving this Ultra Plus humidifier

I have using this Honeywell Ultra Plus cool mist humidifier for two weeks and am very impressed. First of all, the fact that it is filter free is a game changer. I do not need to stress about spending money on expensive filters constantly. The water tank is able to hold a good amount of water. I am able to control the mist output from three different levels.
The different feature that stands out is the humidistat feature which allows you to set the humidity percentage you would like for the room and once that is reached the humidifier will turn off once that humidity level is obtained. This allows for my distilled water to last longer in the unit and for me to have my desired humidity level.
I can also easily swivel at the top of the unit to control the direction the mist goes too. The essential oil tray slides out for a mess free way to easily add a few drops to a small pad that slides back into the unit.
I love the aesthetic of the unit, the sleek black colour and the sleek touch screen. The unit looks sleek and modern in my bedroom.
The unit is quiet which has been perfect for having my newborn sleeping next to us in the bassinet.
I would definitely recommend this humidifier for anyone that is looking. These features have been awesome and a huge step up for other humidifiers I have used in the past.

Works great

The Honeywell Ultra Plus cool mist humidifier has great features that the older model basic humidifiers don't have. I really appreciate the ability to control the mist output (three levels) and the humidistat (four levels). I also really like the auto shut off once the desired relative humidity level is reached. No more continuously running until you unplug the unit. The Honeywell Ultra Plus cool mist also allows you to direct the mist by rotating the mist outlet. The unit has an essential oil tray, but I haven't tried this feature yet. I like the idea of this, as it could send natural scents into the air. It's pretty quiet except for some dripping sounds, which my son mentioned when he was trying to fall asleep. After a while the dripping sound didn't bother him and he was able to ignore it. I would recommend this product for people who want to have various options/controls for their units, when using a humidifier.

Easy-to-use humidifier

It doesn't require filters, so it requires no further purchases. It has several different settings so you can control the level of humidity you want in the room. One of my favourite features of the humidifier is that you can easily incorporate your favourite essential oils in the mist by putting a few drops onto a pad. The set-up is a breeze and it was easy to use. The humidifier is aesthetically pleasing too, so you can put it in an room without it sticking out. It also is compact in size, so it doesn't take up too much room. This product would be good for anybody. I would recommend it for anyone who wants an easy-to-use humidifier that doesn't take too much work to use or too much space.
