Best for when it’s a big room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for a couple of months and it has made it not stuffy at all. When I usually sense that a room is stuffy my head starts to get a migraine. But as soon as I turn it on it works amazing

Great for Large Rooms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cool mist humidifier is perfect to use in large rooms. It is easy to use, with 4 preset comfort levels. I use it in my master bedroom to help with cough and congestion. An added plus with this humidifier is that it has no filter to change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I needed for my living room! It covers large spaces and my living room is the most active room in my house. Sometimes we sleep in there and when we wake up we do not feel the best when it comes to dry nose and dry nasal cavities. I now feel comfortable to spend more time in my living room the features this Honeywell Cool Mist humidifier has. It is a lightweight mist that does not dampen any items near it. It is a cool mist that keeps you cool and comfortable, it isn’t sticky or warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Honeywell ultra Plus cool mist humidifier, I actually got it for my house plants because they do really bad in the winter time but I thought I would give it a try out in my bedroom while I slept because I always wake up with a dry throat and mouth and I have to say I slept really good and didn't wake up needing to drink a gallon of water lol.... Real easy to use, it has a dual direction mist outlet with visible cool mist and you don't need a filter which I really love and I love the fact it has an essential oil tray, I like to use eucalyptus in mine at night time, like I said, I slept really good using this just one night so I can imagine how good my house plants will do in the winter time next year, I definitely recommend

Great family humidifer

The Honeywell ultra plus cool mist humidifier is a great home appliance to raise the humidity in any room, which is a necessity for dry cities! Setup was easy as there are essentially only two parts: the base and a water container. I was pleasantly surprised to find a little compartment for essential oil as well. The mist comes out from the top and it is visible, adjustable, and fast. If you are feeling the dry winter air, this is a great addition to any room!

The humidifier that meets all needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. Honeywell's Ultra Plus Cool Mist Humidifier is beyond compare. It has so many fantastic features. Honeywell has really done the research and covered all the bases.
This humidifier features a 1.5 gallon tank with a wide opening for easy filling and cleaning. Although not included, you can purchase a demineralization cartridge if you have hard water. This is a filter free product.
It was simple to set up and understand. Cleaning can be done with a 20 minute vinegar soak. A cleaning brush is provided and is stored conveniently in the base.
The mist outlet is adjustable in dual directions, as well as mist output settings. You can also set the humidity level, and it has a built in humidistat with four presets to maintain your desired level of humidity.
This unit can run 40 hours per filling, but using clean fresh water every day is recommended.
It is suitable for a large sized room. There is an option to use essential oils. It has a push and release tray and the oils are added to the pad, not into the water. Additional pads are not included but can be purchased.
This humidifier is so quiet, I sometimes forget it's on. Not a problem, as it will automatically shut off when the tank is empty.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with this product. I would highly recommend.

Sickness gone and happy furniture and plants

The Honeywell Ultra Plus Cool Mist Humidifier is the perfect addition to my home for helping keep moisture in the air in our harsh winter weather months. It has 3 mist settings, dual direction mist outlet and is ultra quiet operation. It has the essential oil feature for those who like to add oils in. It is filter free and easy to clean, has the humidity reached indicator as well as auto shut off. The tank is 1.5 gallons and a runtime average of 40 hours in a large room.
I have young kids with Asthma and the humidity levels were maintained consistently throughout so we actually were getting sick less and having less weather related problems as a result like nose bleeds, cracked hands and chapped lips. I also suffer from chronic sinus infections and this humidifier helped to fend off my latest one within a matter of 3 days consistently running all day long. That to me is worth its weight in gold as having a comfortable humidity level in my home has been a challenge to maintain for a long time before I started using the Honeywell ultra plus humidifier.
Having a smart thermostat in my home definitely has its benefits as it tells me my humidity level so using the Honeywell in conjunction with my thermostat readings has really been a benefit all around for not just myself and my kids but also in maintaining my hardwood flooring I have in my home. It has been much more happy with less squeaks with the constant humidity being in check.
My plants look so much perkier as well with the added moisture from the humidifier. Prior to using this, they looked wilted and sad and definitely did not stand proud like they are currently.
In summary, I would highly recommend this as your next purchase based off my positive experiences especially. It has been extremely helpful for sickness and cold winter effects on the body, great for anyone who has hardwood or wood furniture to keep your wood happy and the plant lovers. Plants look better which will in turn improve your oxygen levels in your home alongside the humidifier. It's a thumbs up from me all around and I'd recommend it to anyone with larger rooms for maximum efficiency.

Lots of great humidifying features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. The Honeywell HUL565BC Ultra Comfort Cool Mist Humidifier has a compact, sleek design, lightweight and is easy to operate.
I started using this while struggling to get rid of an upper respiratory tract infection and had a nagging dry cough that would wake me throughout the night. As soon as I started using it I had noticeably better sleeps.
My favourite feature is the essential oil tray which allows you to add drops of your favourite essential oils ultimately functioning as a long lasting, large diffuser.
Other great features include the fact that this has NO FILTER; meaning less maintenance and who doesn't like that! Being a notoriously hot sleeper I loved the cooling effect the humidifying mist provided and the fact that the mist output direction, amount and moisture levels could easily be adjusted.
The only reason I gave 4 stars was that a full tank of water was depleted after only one night. It seemed to use water quite quickly. I.e. for it to run for 40 hrs per filling as advertised it would have to be set on very low settings.
Overall I would definitely recommend this humidifier to others. I was able to see great effects with using after just one night. All of the extra features make it an attractive home humidifying system.
