Soothing vapor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure I needed a humidifier, but my skin is so dry and I get horrible static electricity in the winter, that I thought that it wouldn't hurt to try one. This humidifier has both cool and warm mist, plus an added benefit of using essential oils or even liquid inhalants for colds. The instruction book is easy and clear to read and I had mine up and running in minutes. Just open the water tank by turning the cap. Easy to read instructions are on the cap, with the arrows pointing to close and open. It is sealed with a gasket, so no worries of leaking. Fill the tank with water, close the cap and turn the tank upside down and put it in the humidifier base.
On the base, there are only 3 buttons. Power, cold and warm mist. Nothing to confuse you. I simply pushed the power on, and immediately a cool mist started. Each push of the cool or warm mist button controls the amount of vapor coming out. Each level has a light that turns on, low, medium and high output. The cool mist is the default, so if you want warm mist you push the "sun" button.
There are dual controls for the mist output. You can simply turn them so you can control which room direction you want the mist to go. Sometimes it's hard to turn the dials, because you can't get a grip on them. Just look for the notch on the top of both of them and use your finger to adjust them. You can have the mist go in 2 different directions.
I have this in my sun room, where I have plants and spend a lot of time. The booklet says plants love the moisture, so I'm hoping they will thrive.
The humidifier runs quietly, and I can barely hear it even when I'm close to it. It will run for several hours depending on the mist output you picked. It shuts off automatically. There are directions on how to maintain, clean and scale removal and also a troubleshooting guide. There is also a phone number to call with help questions or warranty service, which is for 2 years.
I think this will help the amount of static that I get, and when I get stuffy, I will be using the essential oil cup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always need a great humidifier being that I live in an area that gets 5-6 months of really cold weather. Cold weather takes away moisture in the air; I always rely on a good humidifier to replenish that moisture and this Honeywell humidifier is a great help to make the air more moist. It has 2 settings for a cool mist or warm mist - I prefer the warm mist - and I use it when I am sleeping to stop congestion in my nose. Thank you for a great really functional item.

It is quiet and lasts me through the night and definitely helps when I am sick or with allergies. I definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used several humidifiers before and have some success but there isn't one that we've used that is as simple to assemble, user friendly with just the right amount of technology to feel modern.
The directions are easy to understand, the tank holds a larger amount of water than expected, the two direction spout really helps to pinpoint towards a certain direction or a wider spray for whole room coverage. Haven't used the warm setting yet but am excited if it works like what we've experienced we'll be more than happy.

Excellent addition to our bedroom

I love this humidifier because it has the option for warm or cool mist and 3 different levels of output. I can fill it up once every 3 days and put it on low at night. It is tucked in the corner of my room in the midst of my plants. They love it too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 2 settings (warm and cool) set this above any other humidifier. This will be used year round with warm in fall/winter and cool in spring/summer.
Holds a great amount of water so it will last evening into the morning on high. Changing the water is simple it has a large hole for filling so it doesn’t get all over. Puts out a great amount of moisture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this humidifier, I use the cool mist more than the warm, but I can tell a big difference in my home and how I breathe! I am prone to allergies and so I wake up with a stuffy nose often, sometimes bloody. Since I have used this, my congestion is minimal and no more bloody noses. I use the warm mist during the days and cool at night. I love the settings, and you have 3 speeds to choose from. I keep mine on low. I love that there is no wet spots on my table or carpet where I keep the humidifier. I live in a 1100sq ft apartment and you can tell throughout the home when I have it running. I highly recommend this humidifier!!
