Doesn't Always Wash Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a floor model of this unit. It's hard to tell in photos, but it seems to me that this unit has 3 wash arms--a lower, middle, and upper. Our unit seemed to be missing the upper. We had it sent to us under warranty, but it either doesn't fit or we don't have all the parts necessary to install it. We've resorted to not using the silverware drawer at all, because nothing we put up there was getting clean. Even still, sometimes dishes don't come out entirely clean. For what is a pretty expensive unit, it would be nice if it did a better job for us. These results are with us using the heavy wash cycle and rinse aid for every load, so it seems like it should be doing a better job than it is. Something is definitely not right.

Regarding the spray arm, unlike traditional spray arms, our BladeSpray® arm rotates in two directions, so you get better water coverage that reaches every corner.
Lastly, here are a few tips that may be helpful with the cleaning process.
• Choose another cycle for longer washing time.
• Choose the Hi-Temp Wash option.
• Check rack loading section for proper loading avoid nesting items.
• Home water pressure may be too low – should be 20 to 120 pounds per square inch (psi).
• Check incoming water temperature. It should be at least 120°F (49°C).
• Check water hardness. For extremely hard water, it may be necessary to install a water
softener.
• Use Fresh Detergent.
• Make sure items are not blocking the spray arms, preventing them from rotating.

Disappointed

I’ve had this dishwasher for just under a year and I’ve absolutely loved it, until I noticed the handle is beginning to rust. I’m not hard on my dishwasher and I take care of it, so it’s extremely disappointing.
