[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Frigidaire dishwasher! Everything comes out clean every time. It is spacious and the inside stainless steel inside never smells like my old one. I love how the dishes are evenly dry when I unload, no water spilling everywhere.

Maybe good for just the basics

Not really happy with the layout of the racks on this model. Our previous Frigidaire had numerous options, fold-down holders, deep racks, individually separated flatware spaces, etc. We have young kids, so a lot of different kinds of dishes, lunch containers, small bowls, etc. and the old dishwasher did well to accommodate a variety of pieces. This one seems to work fine if you're only washing standard plates, saucers, and certain specific size and shape bowls. We can never get enough of what we need to wash in there because there just isn't enough room. I can see how the third rack at the top can be useful for cooking utensils, but it also reduces the available height for glasses in the top rack. Also, again in line with having young children, nothing plastic or soft rubber or anything like that comes out even remotely dry. Wish we didn't miss the return window to take it back and try something else.

New Dishwasher

Thanks for your feedback! This dishwasher runs whisper-quiet at 49 decibels - perfect for a busy kitchen! It is normal for there to be a particular smell to the dishwasher at first. Freshly manufactured stainless steel tubs may carry a "new metal" smell for the first few cycles, but this should dissipate over time. Running a cycle with a cup of white vinegar can also help cut down on any odors. We hope this information helps and that you continue to enjoy your new dishwasher!
