Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased this Frigidaire dishwasher to replace a Samsung that has been giving us problems for years! I wanted a dishwasher that had a built in grinder, stainless steel tub, and multiple cycles including sanitize. We have had our new dish washer for a couple of months now and I love it! I love that it has three racks. Choosing options on the control panel is super easy and gone are the days of finding half washed dishes like I was finding in my old dishwasher. The dishes come out clean as they should. It also does a good job drying everything as well. This is my first Frigidaire purchase and I am very pleased with it!

Dishwasher quietly saves family of four from fighting over the dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gem of a dishwasher is our first ever dishwasher. It's wonderful. It does a great job and it's quiet enough to run it while we watch our favorite tv show together. We are thrilled to have it in our house. Our teenagers are also grateful not to have to do the chore of hand washing the dishes any longer, as their parents are pleased with the lower water bill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that stopped working after only 3 years- right off the bat, it's done a much better job drying than the previous machine- we love the third rack at the top, and even though the utensil basket seems "loose" this has helped to keep the sides of the basket clean- ie; our old machine had too many small "nooks and crannies" that sludge would build up in- (yes, we ran d/w cleaner- monthly- and white vinegar and Borax in each load- but this sludge was still an issue-)

Average dishwasher, at best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet dishwasher, but it struggles to clean dishes thoroughly. Dishes never come out dry and often require some handwashing.

This is definitely a problem! We may have some troubleshooting tips to help.
Food Soils Left on Dishes
• Choose the Hi-Temp Wash option.
• Check rack loading section for proper loading and avoid nesting items.
• Home water pressure may be too low - should be 20 to 120 pounds per square inch (psi).
• Check incoming water temperature. It should be at least 120°F (49°C).
• Check water hardness. For extremely hard water, it may be necessary to install a water softener.
• Use Fresh Detergent.
• Make sure items are not blocking the spray arms, preventing them from rotating.
Dishes not Dry
• Select heat dry option. • Make sure the rinse aid dispenser is filled.
• Increase the discharge setting of rinse aid.
• Check the incoming water temperature. Be sure it is at least 120°F (49°C).
• Check for proper loading-avoid nesting items.
• Plastic items may need to be towel dried.
• Cups with a concave bottom will collect water. Load them at the far left of the upper rack so they will be held in a tilted position.
