Worked well until it stopped charging my phone

Worked at charging my phone and liked using the stand in both orientations, but after 10 months of using it, it stopped charging my phone consistently and now I wake up to an almost dead phone instead of a fully charged one. Enjoyed it while it lasted but I would suggest investing in a better charger that uses a USB-C connection instead of a micro-USB. The charger it comes with also produces an intermittent high-pitched whine for those who plan on keeping this where you sleep
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
