Love It!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Maytag. I was going to get a Speed Queen like my Mother's, but after research decided on this machine. It has more capacity than I even thought it would (more than Mom's Speed Queen) and have been easily able to wash king size bedding and mattress covers. It's simple to use too. I have no complaints except I wish it would fill with water with the lid open. I don't like to put the clothes on top of undiluted soap but I've worked around that by closing the lid after putting in the soap until it fills a little bit then opening to put clothes in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Built like a tank with the best solid state controls. I'm so happy with the mvwp585gw. What a piece of equipment. Things are just not made to this standard any longer. Actually cleans your clothes thoroughly in half the time of the last two washers I've had to buy in the past 1o years. Easily repairable, expect this one to last a lifetime like the ones we had growing up in the 70's.

Quick cycles, cleans great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the commercial grade model based on information that it should last longer than home models and be easier to service if it breaks. Very sturdy, and cleans better with much shorter cycles than my previous Maytag Bravos top loader. It's somewhat louder when agitating than my previous machine and isn't as attractive as many home models. But since it washes so quickly and well, I wish I would've bought this years ago.

A Machine Worth Owning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had other Maytag washers in my 42 years of marriage and think this is the best by far! No extreme bells and whistle, it will not bake a cake or fly itself to the moon. It will however wash and clean clothes to perfection with easy to use settings and turn knobs( my favorite). It has an agitator and is efficient and effective! All to my delight. I would highly recommend it if washing clothes thoroughly is your goal.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased May 2025. Delivered June5, 2025. The washer arrived with a stripped agitator. It took 3 weeks for the service person to come. Ordered a new agitator. Installed a week later. Now bottom of agitator works but top still doesn't (its a duel action agitator). I am currently waiting for the service person to return to hopefully finally fix the problem. So... I really don't know if I like the washer because I have not been able to really use it.
