The NOOA weather reception is great. A lot better than my other radios. A better scan than my other radios. It scans only the 22 channels. My other radios scans around 100 channels. Have not tried or used the two way radio function.
My cons: no FM stations, no light, charging cradle (dinosaur).
Hard to say if the price is worth it. Jury is out.

Most Amazing and Easiest To UseHandheld GMRS Raido

The GXT 67Pro is by far the easiest GMRS radio I have used. MidlandUSA made the functions, display and features so easy to use. Setting up groups was an easy way for me to preprogram my different Jeep groups for my preset channels. I love the car charger it comes with. It snaps in the base and doesn’t fall out when wheeling. I will definitely be purchasing another radio and the data cable to open more channels.

This is a very well made radio. The audio quality is also excellent. I have a micro mobile in my Subaru Outback as well. The only thing I would recommend is that Midland make ALL of the published CTCSS codes available as I am unable to use a local repeater that uses 206.5.

Amazing but no USB-C charging in 2024?

I want to 100% love this radio but the proprietary charging situation is kind of ridiculous for a radio released in 2024. Hey Midland I'd love a fast charge cradle yes, but also please include a USB-C port for the update, I don't want to have to buy multiple cradles as backups when I have a ton of USB-C cables. Range is great, UI is awesome, build quality is killer, just the lack of easy charging is unacceptable. I won't be taking these camping but they'll stay on the property for my kids.

Durable Functionality at a Good Price

As the editor of a vehicle-based adventure magazine, I travel a lot. My journeys take me on long stretches of pavement but also into backcountry settings that require communication in the event something doesn't go as planned.
The GXT67 Pro from Midland is small enough to place in your cup holder (if you don't have a windshield mount or equivalent) but also large enough to navigate the unit's various functions including weather notifications. While I found the manual channel changing functionality not as intuitive initially as I had hoped, once I figured out how to manually navigate to a specific channel, the unit's usability became a breeze.
While I might recommend a larger wattage unit that's permanently affixed inside your vehicle if you plan to spend regular and extended periods of time in the remote wild, I firmly believe the GXT67 Pro is an excellent option for those who don't want a permanent setup in their vehicle while also providing multi-use functionality while on foot or on two wheels. It's a quality unit I would recommend.

Great Unit -- Unfortunately NO USB-C Charging Port

I bought this last week and had really high hopes, but I totally mis-read the specs list.....there's no USB-C secondary charge plug. This is a huge issue for such a modern radio, because every other part of this unit is exactly what I want in a handheld GMRS radio. It was definitely a mistake on my part for not reviewing the specifications, but I just also assumed it would be like my other modern GMRS devices.
Other than this lack of a USB-C charging port, this is an awesome radio and its working out around the house and its easy enough that the rest of the family can use it like a simple FRS radio. Midland, please add the USB-C port so I'll be up for buying the next 2.
