Love these little radios for camping. Our kiddos love to explore and they are perfect for keeping track of them. They connect to our other Midland radios but are bright so they are easy to spot.

Maximum range can only be achieved over open water or mountain peak to mountain peak, since these are "line of sight" radios, any obstructions between you and the person you are communicating with will greatly decrease your range. A friendly reminder that your vehicle in of itself is an obstruction as the signal must past through the roof or body of the vehicle.
