Good product, good features easy to setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to setup and use. Can be used with 3rd party arm. That was my setup now I've put it back on the orginal stand. Comes with all the smart features I need. Connects wireless to my laptop and is great for my 3 screen setup.

Everything I Needed Plus More!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for primarily school and personal use. But now, it's my go to monitor for gaming! Whether through plug and play with my PC or through they're cloud service apps! The resolution is impeccable. YouTube videos, shows, movies.. Everything is right there on the smart monitor, so no need to even plug my PC in. Beautifully designed and looks amazing! I just wish I could tilt the monitor down, but at my desk I have to sit lower anyways.

Too smart, doesn't let mouse through

I wanted to use this as an external monitor for my chromebook. I bought this particular one because it had USB A ports, and I *assumed* that meant it was a USB hub. But no, it intercepts the mouse and won't let the connected chromebook see it. For some reason it lets the keyboard through, though.
Samsung says that if you want the mouse to get through, you have to install an MSI file. Well, I'm on a chromebook (or a linux box) so that does not work. Come on, people! Not everybody is running windows!
I am NOT happy about this.
Otherwise, it seems to work ok as a monitor, but if I'd known this, I definitely would have bought something else. The chance that I'll use the streaming stuff in the monitor is vanishingly small; I really just wanted a computer monitor and I thought, what the heck, why not add the other stuff on the off chance that I might want it? But the other stuff makes it less useful as a monitor, darn it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The physical clarity is amazing, and Samsung did an awesome job with all the extra details/features I have access to with this product. I had a few tiny mishaps with the initial setup and activating my warranty, but as usual, Samsung's team of professionals, swiftly and kindly assisted me. The best part about this company is the people "behind the scenes."
