Overall best productivity monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mainly use this monitor for coding and surfing the web. I use windows but as you all know, playing hdr content in windows, in any other browser besides edge is straight horrible. This is where the smart part of the monitor comes in, it has built in streaming apps with natively supported hdr10. HDR content might not matter to some but it matters to me cause why watch content in sdr format when you can watch in hdr and make it look 100x better you feel, but yeah overall a great monitor for productivity and entertainment

Too smart, doesn't let mouse through

I wanted to use this as an external monitor for my chromebook. I bought this particular one because it had USB A ports, and I *assumed* that meant it was a USB hub. But no, it intercepts the mouse and won't let the connected chromebook see it. For some reason it lets the keyboard through, though.
Samsung says that if you want the mouse to get through, you have to install an MSI file. Well, I'm on a chromebook (or a linux box) so that does not work. Come on, people! Not everybody is running windows!
I am NOT happy about this.
Otherwise, it seems to work ok as a monitor, but if I'd known this, I definitely would have bought something else. The chance that I'll use the streaming stuff in the monitor is vanishingly small; I really just wanted a computer monitor and I thought, what the heck, why not add the other stuff on the off chance that I might want it? But the other stuff makes it less useful as a monitor, darn it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst monitor I've ever seen & trash tier quality

This has to be the lowest quality monitor I've ever used. Look at the pictures I've attached. The first is what the M70D looks like and the last two pictures is what my other 4k monitor looks like. In addition to the image being terribly distorted, there is a very heavy finish on the monitor which makes the text look incredibly fuzzy and blurry. The monitor looks like its 1080p in resolution due to this finish, and the colors and color accuracy looks atrocious.
I honestly hope the product I received is damaged, because if not, it is crazy that this is what they are intentionally selling to people.

HAVE TO DO BETTER!

So I have an issue with my Samsung account itself and has nothing to do with this product. Samsung should really consider revamping you guys 2 step authentication method. It is unheard of to expect everyone to have access to there old phone numbers that was created with the account. In fact it's so ridiculous that you have to login to leave a review which I couldn't do due to unable to receive a code to an old phone number. Most other companies have an email option as the secondary if you don't have access to the old phone number. It's beyond me why such a well known business such as Samsung does not have these methods implemented. Even if you do manage to remember this old phone number out of thin air and manage to update your phone number, then you have to wait 2 WEEKS for the change to be solidified. Until then your unable to login to your account to do anything such register your sons new tablet, which is how all this started. Now he has to wait to weeks for a phone number change. I'm not coming at Samsung but you guys definitely have to do better. Smh
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mediocre pic Quality! bad glare! Beware! Stay away

I’m super unhappy with this monitor. Yes I have the 43 inch Samsung M7 and it’s terrible. The glare is so bad. It’s because of the super glossy screen. If your looking at in complete darkness your fine but if you are in a room with a light on or have sun coming through the windows forget it. Then there is the software, yes there is some cool things like the Samsung DEX, Microsoft 365. But as far as it being functional and not super complicated just to get to settings or switch from Samsung tv to something else on it. Even just to get to where your option is to click over to play the PlayStation it’s like walking through fun house. It’s def not for gaming. The games on the hub lag so bad but not on my PlayStation. It’s lacking quality. It’s definitely not a product I would call premium. The stand that came with it is crap. It claims it moves side to side and back and forth just a tad, but it doesn’t really. It’s a heavy metal stand but it’s not as they claim. I would steer away from this at all cost!!!! I wish I would have done more looking at reviews, this is a flop for sure. The picture is terrible. The glare is horrible. The picture color is inconsistent and when you look at it from an angle it gets worse. Ugh. I just wish I would have done a little more research on this. I just started back up with classes in college this week, and was supposed to be happy but instead I’m upset. :( Samsung also is no help! There’s better one out there. This one is disappointing!
