Great Features and form factor

I bought this for my Ram 2500 Power Wagon. The install was straightforward. I went back and forth on the models I wanted. I decided on this version, so that I didn't have to look down to see what channel I was on, etc. Mounting the micromobile on top of my radio was not an option as I have seen others do. I have a bulletpoint phone mount that takes up that area and I was not giving that up. I hope to use this in Colorado this year. I will update my review if anything changes. The mount I used for the Ghost antenna I found on Amazon. I powder coated it to match my truck as close as possible. The mount that came with this kit would not work on my truck. I will use it on my side by side for something I’m sure.
I won't dock this a star, but I did have a question on how to run the extra antenna wire I ended up with, roughly 10 feet. I called and left a VM with support and never heard back from them. I am a little disappointed in that. My question to them was can I roll the slack and zip tie it? Or do I need to find a way to run the extra wire so it's not coiled together. Or do I find someone that can cut it to fit? I have heard that in some instances coiling coax antenna cable could cause some issues.

This is the second MXT275 I've purchased, and I love the idea of them. Having all the controls in the handset is such a game-changer! I have the head unit mounted out of the way, which is perfect because I don't really have space on my dash to put the head unit there. And the ghost antenna is perfect! I wanted that instead of the magnet one so that it wouldn't get blasted away in a car wash, and I'm definitely grateful I chose to do that. 10/10, I have these in two of my vehicles and if I had more vehicles I'd probably have more radios too!

Very easy install. Crisp, clear reception. Easy to use hand mic. And I like that the speaker is in the small base unit. I added an external speaker to my Cobra handheld CB, in my Jeep. I planned to do the same for this unit. But the volumn is so good on this unit that I may not have to use an external speaker

This was an easy install for a temp job, and still an easy install when I got around to doing a more long term fixture. My set up didn't allow me to get a quick install on the 3dB antenna, but the stock piece did a great job regardless. First use - stock antenna to my buddy with a handheld FRS and he could at least hear me about 7 miles away. We could both transmit/receive at about 3 miles which is pretty awesome considering he had a handheld and we live in the PNW (lots of trees). Weather channels work fantastic and sure beat having to waste messages on my inReach device.

Loving the radio, easy to setup and great quality, sound is great and I upgraded mine with the 3db antenna and has been working great and because of the controls on the mic I was able to hide the chassis

Very happy with the bundle with the exception of the antenna mount. Very limited places to use that mount on a stock Jeep and the mirror that it is advertised to mount to will not work. Otherwise this is a great package.
