This is a great radio, especially for its size! It fits in a tiny space in my jeep! Most all of the controls are in the mike, which makes it easy to deal with when on the trail - not having to look at the base station.

Great product. Very compact and fits just about anywhere. With the limited dash space in our Jeep JL the MXT275 was the perfect choice to mount under the seat. It works great on the trail, but you do need a remote speaker.

The MXT275 radios now being shipped by Midland USA are old stock and do not contain the latest software revision that allows wideband repeater transmission.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do have some "new" radios being shipped out. This is a case of going through inventory however. Which is something we cannot control. The updated firmware occurred in the middle of 2022 which was unavoidable for the other stock that had already been ordered and programmed with the previous firmware. We are able to update the firmware for you if needed. Please contact Customer Experience at support@midlandradio.com we will be able to assist you with this.
