I installed this radio in my wife's vehicle and she loves it! She is able to communicate both simplex and through a network of GMRS repeaters! She also finds having all controls located in the microphone easy to use and a great safety feature. The USB outlet is a great little extra as well.

ordered this MXT275 as i can hide the box on the side of driver seat. Attached the handle on top of seat belt feeder. All hide very well during driving and still easy to pick up whenever need it.

I bought this radio for use in my Jeep during overland travel. I took my first overland trip this past weekend through the Blue Ridge Mountains in VA and NC and the radio did not disappoint. Very easy to use, great range despite terrain, and the USB port is an added bonus. The unit is very compact and the bracket that comes in the kit makes for easy mounting. I went with a hard wired installation using a Blue Sea Systems fused terminal board. No issues thus far. If you're in the market for a GMRS radio I highly recommend this unit.

The radio works great, is compact, and has a solid feel. Having the controls all in the handset is great. The ability to use repeaters is the main reason I got this radio and for that reason alone this radio is worth it (long overdue). The only downside, which is probably for regulatory reasons, is that the radio doesn't contain the FRS frequencies, just the GMRS frequencies. The channels are still aligned though. It just skips over the channel numbers for the FRS frequencies.

I purchased one two months ago for camping trips and trail riding. The range is spectacular. I use it in the truck while traveling and move it over to the side by side on the trails. It is super easy to use and install. The only accessory I recommend is a larger magnetic base and antenna for the truck; it improved the range and clarity for long (over 20-mile) range. I love it!

Love the product. New to GMRS radios and did my homework. Didn't want foreign-made product so was glad I found MidlandUSA. Looked at a lot of reviews and videos before purchasing this radio. Will probably purchase the MXT400 for another vehicle/permanent install. I like the portability of this radio to other vehicles using the car's DC supply. Still learning how to properly use it, but very happy with the purchase.

Love my new Midland Micro Mobile GMRS unit! I installed it in my 2017 Jeep JK between the sun visors and it fits perfectly. Not a lot of options to mount accessories in a Jeep and the need for a compact and strong radio was a must. The radio performs very well with the 6db gain antenna mounted on a front fender mount.
