Got it for Christmas, installed it NYE, Added a 3db external UHF antenna. This puppy does the job! Getting into repeaters 20 miles away. Crisp audio great weather coverage.

This radio is awesome. Clear and loud transmitting and receiving. Together with the 6db antenna it has great range. I will be saving to get the mxt400 next. I also have xtalker portables and am impressed with them too.

Impressive so I purchased another along with an MXT115 and MXT400. Use MXT400 as a base station. Use equipment on three vehicles instead of CB. Better range and quality of voice. Very easy to use and operate. GMRS is the way to go.
