Easy installation and setup with all of the items provided in the box. Main unit fits nicely between seats and out of the way. Having all controls in hand makes adjustments easy. Haven't fully tested range yet, but picks up a lot more than handheld while scanning.

Love my Two Way Radio

I absolutely love my Midland radio. The install was very straightforward and the kit comes with everything you need to get started. The MicroMobile radio is going to make a HUGE difference on the trails and while caravanning. Great quality too!

Recently purchased a couple of them and they are exceeding expectations. The virus quarantine has delayed full testing but am moving forward anyway and purchasing a MXT-400 for a base unit

Installed it in a 2006 Jeep TJ Rubicon and anybody familiar with these know how difficult it is to find space to install anything. I mounted it behind the panel under the steering column. Used a 3’ extension with a flush plug installed in center console that makes it extremely easy to remove the head unit say when times I go topples and doors off. I did use the “JK” windshield antenna mount after some reworking as seen in the pictures. Great radio and if I had a wishlist it would be to re drill the mounting holes in the antenna mount to fit a TJ, offer the 3’ extension w/plug and maybe offer some more dashboard mike holders (made mine out of a old cell phone holder) thanks for a great Radio...Joe
