Easy to install, super compact. I really like having all the controls in the mic. Added plus is the ability to extend the mic cable with a typical RJ45 extension.

This radio still amazes me. The setup was very simple and took no time at all. The sound quality is very clear even at far ranges. The radio is very well built and serves its purpose very well. I will be purchasing another one for our other vehicle soon!

I bought this radio for install in a particular vehicle whereas being able to look at display for channel changes/volume adjustments while in motion would have been a concern. Great radio, receives/transmits well with the commercial grade antenna I am using. Audio output using either speaker is great and with both speakers on is even better!! and when I attached an external speaker to it I forgot to turn the radio down and when radio traffic came over I almost jumped out of my seat!!! I would definitely recommend this radio to anyone looking for this style of radio. Midland you did good with this radio. BTW I also have an MXT115 that I love also. Would love to try an MXT400!!

I bought this radio after looking around at other GMRS products because it fit exactly where I wanted to mount it and all of the controls are in the mic. Installation was super easy and it's easy to use. One great thing is it is totally out of sight even the mic when I'm not using the vehicle.

Bought this as a permanent install in my Wrangler JLUR for when I go offroading with friends. This little unit gives you many options for installation - I put mine behind the glove box. I added the 6dB antenna and cable for improved performance.
Overall great reception and great fit. The mic cable could be a bit longer, but easily resolved with an RJ45 extension
