Bought this for my trail rig so could communicate with other people as we usually ride where there is no cell service and nice to have the ability to talk with handheld radios for spotting. Ordered a 6db antenna to go with it and my only frustration with my purchase is that no where in the info in the radio did it state that to use the upgraded antenna I would also need to order another cable rather than being able to use the one supplied w radio. Have to get that still but radio still has good range with the basic antenna supplied

I have 5 micromobiles, and 4 handheld units. The micros are installed in all of our farm equipment and in the SxS's. We carry the handhelds when on foot! They all make for crystal clear, easy, and effective communication with a very impressive range with antenna upgrades!
I would like to see the battery life on the handhelds to be a little longer, but it is ok, or average.

I have had this radio for just under a month, but have been impressed with its capabilities. I get clear audio from both mike and head unit and thus far getting good TX and RX signal strength. Its compact size gives it lots of mounting options in your vehicle and the control microphone is an important feature for off roading, especially if you use the extension, which allows you to step out of your vehicle while using the radio. Its rugged.
