I bought this to add to my Jeep for off-road trips. The range and popularity of the GMRS and FRS bands has everyone moving from CB. It came with everything need to get started and is basically plug and play. The only negative for me was the antenna is hard wired to the cable. Upgrading the antenna is going to require me re-running that cable again. Otherwise it’s a nice compact design and fits my Jeep as easily as the midland 75-822.

Bought this as a requirement for Jeep Jamboree and am very pleased with it. I did add the whip antenna but for a quick and dirty install the mag mount is fine. Everything you need is in the box. Well done Midway!
