Used this for over a month. Solid built, supper easy to get connect. I didn’t even look at the instructions and figured how to program it. Antenna is the only thin part everything else is rugged. It is still quality, but most people get a different one. Depending where you want to place it you may need an extension cable. I have an f150 super crew cab and for now have the antenna above the dash inside. But plan to move to back side of the roof. Good to have background color options but some are pretty but not very readable. Also planning to splice wires and run via a switched relay to the battery. Had a bud of trouble with finding a place to mount. Opened the handheld bracket and attached it to a ram mount base having to drill and dremel the base a bit.

Easy to install this product, even in a car. Cig lighter socket is built in so no splicing, compact setup, and seems very solidly built with the case acting as a metal heat sink.
