Out of the box I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. Everything about the set up and use of this two way radio was easy. We immediately used it on an overland excursion. My favorite feature of this radio is having all the controls in the handheld receiver. I am planning to add the same radio in all of my side by sides.

The direction booklet was very small and at my age that was not a good thing. But after downloading and blowing it up 233%. It's all good. My family can hear me using the T71 and T20. The T20 does not have the power needed respond when we are 2 miles out. We have a lot of building in our area. Haft a watt does not go far.

We have used Midland GMRS sets exclusively for some time now. I purchased the MXT275 for my wife's 4runner about a week ago. It arrived quicker than expected and works just a well as the others. It was a little challenging finding a home for it that would accommodate the mic placement needed for my wife, but once it was sorted out, installation was a breeze. Great products!

I picked this up to have permanently mounted communications in the truck and have been absolutely ecstatic on the performance. The 6dB gain antenna does wonders in the mountains and I haven't had any issues with it. The one thing I do wish it had was an "auto-on function" I seem to always forget to turn it back on after a quick stop on the trail. Though, that is more my fault hah.
