I purchased the mobile mtx275 a month ago. Install was a breeze with supplied roof magnet mount in my 2015 ram 2500. Unfortunately there is not many gmrs repeaters in my urban area to test on. Have recieved many frs/gmrs HT that can not respond based on distance but have rx from frs from upwards of 3 miles away and gtx1000vp4 tx/rx from close to 2 miles from inside the home. Your environment will be a major factor in reception. Looking to trial the mtx26 to see the difference in urban and rural distance as I go to both types.

I have this for a month now. At first everything works but all of a sudden the audio tx is gone. All that comes out on tx is only the beeper but voice audio is lost.

I purchased the Midland mxt275 recently. It was easy to install and is equally easy to use. I’d love to try the mxt400, a 40watt model and compare features and usability across the various Utah terrain.

Install was easy and performance is fantastic! Able to talk 2 miles in very obstructed urban environment and 10+ miles in the more open areas! Very impressed and happy with the radio!
