Installed in our 1996 Ford Bronco. The small footprint of the MXT275 allowed me to install behind the dash. Power from an AuxLight box. Ran an extension for the mic and hid the port for a clean install. Went with the Ghost antennae. Excellent range when we are off road and no antennae to get caught / ripped off when going through the brush. I have an MXT575 waiting for my '22 Bronco to arrive.

Extreme novice! Purchased as a starter radio. Really like having weather channels at push of a button. Also since it was mounted in a soft-top Jeep, I could mount the radio unit behind the dash.

Love this radio. I had been using handhelds and the clarity and range was lacking. Having all of the functions in the handheld microphone is ideal. I was able to install this radio and when not in use, it is completely hidden.

I like the minimalist design and it is staged in my truck without anyone knowing I have it. I wish I would have purchased the 575 for the extra power. I also wished it had additional adjustments since I am having trouble connecting to repeaters. Sounds great and speakers are loud.
