Will not support the iPad in the folded position.

Folds over the pencil and magnetically shuts, is excellent. But, the folding stand of the old case magnetically locked, whereas this new design just folds with no mechanism to hold that fold, the magnet is gone. The iPad will continuously crash down on me.
Disgusted, I looked at the problem, and fixed it with Velcro dots. Strategically placed, the dots hold well and my iPad will stand up without crashing down.
But, why fix one problem feature and creat another? Put the magnet back in the folding stand and this would be magnificent. As it is, this will protect your iPad. But bring a small pillow to hold it up.

The hold of the magnet in the standing position is substantially lower than the hold in a previous design that I have on an older iPad Pro. I am hoping that with time the cover will break in sufficiently to moderate this issue. For now, I do not leave the iPad standing unattended. Otterbox replaced the first purchase since the iPad was falling over for no reason. The second one is somewhat better, but not as good as the old one.

High quality protection, doesn’t stand well.

High-quality case but very poor for upright viewing. It won’t stay upright without falling down. The rear of the case is too slick and doesn’t provide any friction against the cover when it’s folded into an upright position.

I’m Disappointed that it doesn’t work like previous cases. The ability to fold the case back to use as a stand doesn’t work at all. It just falls. I’ve had two Symmetry cases with my previous iPad that I loved which was why I code this case and I don’t like this case at all.
