Amazing for back sleepers...adjustment period for side sleeper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these pillows for my husband and I after I was having trouble with neck pain. We had never used a memory foam pillow but we wanted something to help our spines have more support. The profile said it's best for back sleepers but a lot of reviews said they were side sleepers and loved them too. My husband sleeps on his side and fell in love with them on the first night! However I sleep on my side and stomach a lot and it's taken me a long time to adjust. If I rolled onto my back in the night, I agree that the pillows are amazingly comfortable but it was too tall for sleeping on my stomach and not tall enough for my side (and I'm a small framed woman). I even tried putting another thin pillow underneath it with no luck. After a visit to a chiropractor, he recommended folding up a towel underneath until my neck muscles adjusted to the new position and that worked! I can now say both my husband and I thoroughly enjoy our super comfortable pillows!

I ordered this pillow because it claimed it was best for back sleepers which I am. After one night of use, It provided zero support and my head sunk all the way down, hurting my neck the next morning. I called customer service to ask for and exchange for a firmer pillow and they said they do not return or exchange pillows. But they will for mattresses? Makes sense. Terrible policy and terrible pillow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
