These stay firm and I love how I can take out the inner memory foam to eash the outer cover. 10 out of 10! I bought 2 for my best friend and he says he no longer has neck pain.

It is just the right height and balance of firm and soft. I honestly never thought that a good pillow would make that much difference in my sleep, but it really does!
