They keep your head cool and in proper alignment allowing for sleep scores that are incredible normal sleep scores without these pillows and I'm in the 60s and 70s with these pillows. I'm easily hitting 100 every night. Absolutely positively do not try to have a pillow fight with these pillows. Someone will end up in the emergency room. They are solid and incredibly comfortable.

Unfortunately I am a side sleeper, and the pillow is so fat that my head doesn't sink far enough into it (but it IS really comfy). After weeks of using it I figured out that it's causing me some really bad pain in my lower back, because my head/neck are bent too far out of alignment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
