Misunderstood Medium Firm. It's a Rock

Immediately when I pulled the pillow out of the packaging, I noticed how heavy, yet plush it was. I originally had a very soft and flimsy pillow, so I was delighted to receive this pillow as a replacement since I needed more support. Knowing I didn't want a soft or firm pillow, i figured the medium firm would be a good compromise. I was excited for my first night of sleep, however, when I put my head down, the plushness I felt before was gone. I'm typically a back sleeper and this pillow was so firm, there was too much pressure on the back of my head that it felt like someone hit me by the time I woke up. I tossed and turned and transitioned to sleeping on my side and that seemed to be a better position (but not great) for this pillow. You can definitely feel the cooling, which I thought was nice, but sad to say I was not pleased with my purchase come morning. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the return policy is AWFUL considering they don't accept pillows, so needless to say this is my fault for not looking at a return policy before making this purchase. Now I'm stuck with two fluffy bricks on the bed. Disappointed in the product and lack of customer support since they don't accept pillows back for a return. Not to be dramatic, but I would rather toss these than donate them because I would but recommend this pillow to anyone.
