I bought two of these to replace the two I'd had for several years. These are inferior at every level. They're not cooling. They don't respond...I wake in the night with my head in a hole. They are smaller. Neither the permanent nor removable cover fit snugly. When I filed a warranty claim for replacement, I was told no. Big, big disappointment in both this particular item and the company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I actually just purchased a second set of these as I bought these originally a few years back and just fell in love with them. Every time I travel or sleep at someone else's house I miss these pillows as they are the most comfortable pillows I have ever bought, and I have tried many many pillows over the years. I do not skimp on bedding and this has now become one of my standards of cozy bedding.
