When the mattress arrived it was sooooo firm. I am not used to that. It has gotten softer over time, But it is still very firm months later. A bit firmer than I would perfer. I am a side sleeper and my hips do not hurt as bad as they did before. So that's good. However, my lower back still bothers me unless I sleep on my back. This mattress seems best for back sleepers. If I didn't spend so much money and it would not have been a challenge to ship back, I probably would have gotten a different mattress. In a year I will probably turn this mattress to the guest mattress and buy another. If you love firm mattresses this is the way to go. Medium firm or anything less get a different mattress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best mattress for an adjustable bed

I broke my neck, back and pelvis and I needed a good nights sleep. I tried 2 other mattresses neither worked for my adjustable bed. Finally I was able to adjust to the contour I needed.
