[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a queen size Dreamcloud mattress for several years and recently decided to level up to a King as kids are getting big enough to push me off the bed (sidebar: why do toddlers all like to sprawl out diagonally on the parents bed?!). Thought about another Dreamcloud and Sealy, Serta, Purple etc. memory foam. Our original Dreamcloud wasn't very firm so felt like sleeping on a marshmallow. Sealy & Serta memory foam was ok, didn't feel substantial given the price. Purple was weird, like sleeping on a plasticky waffle. Decided to get a medium hybrid Tempurpedic. Agonized over the price vs value proposition of various Tempurpedic higher tier models, especially because it's difficult to find out the exact differences between the models and how significant those diffs are. Finally decided on the lower priced Medium Firm Cloud Hybrid b/c wife didn't want to sleep on a rock (Firm) and I don't like marshmallows enough to get buried in a Soft one and spend 10 min trying to get out of the bed. To my relief and surprise, this mattress has been terrific! Love the firmness (I sink in a bit but can still sit up and get off the bed) and it's very comfortable/sleeps well. It took some getting used to, since it methodically rearranged my vertebrae while I slept and still prompts an unconscious old guy noise (uuughhahhhohhh) when I lay on it. Two caveats for buyers are (1) it's delivered vacuum sealed, looks like a punching bag, and has the weight of a baby elephant. (2) there is some off-gassing (ie weird smell) when it's first opened, though I found that with one window open overnight it cleared up completely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The matress comes in a Cbag/ circular bag. All air is removed and the bag is light enough to be moved by 1 person (but still heavy so lift with proper technique) straps on the side and top assist with moving it. The matress returned to its original shape after removing the wrapping/plastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first it was very comfortable, but it was so different from our previous mattress that we had to get used to it. After being away from home for a week vacation and on a standard pillow top , we were ready to return to the tempurpedic. My back feels fantastic. We never knew how comfortable the tempurpedic could be. We highly recommend this mattress.

We absolutely hate this new and improved Tempur Pedic bed. We had the original bed for 22 years. My husband and I both loved that bed. We thought it was time to get a new bed and wanted another Tempur Pedic. Well we found out that a lot had changed in the world of Tempur Pedic beds. We went to the home show and tried out a few different ones. We ended up with what we thought was a comfortable option after finding out that they don't make the original bed. Well we bought the hybrid.. From the minute we got it home I did not like it. The sheets slide off because of the slippery finish on the mattress. It is too hard. We called the company and of course we purchased 3rd party (did not realize) They said try it out for a bit. Well it did not get better. They said go to a store and try out other ones. Well then I thought perhaps another one felt good but it was more money. Anyway, we thought we would come back and try again. In the mean while the people that we bought it from said there would be a charge for swapping out. Of course they would not take the mechanical part back. Which is ok. Anyhow its not a fit, very uncomfortable and nothing like what we enjoyed sleeping on for 22 years. We are extremely disappointed and going to start the process of shopping again. The beauty of the original bed is that you didn't toss and turn. Well, again this is nothing like the original and it's a shame because that one was an ace. My sister bought that one and another friend after we purchased ours. SIGNED; No sleep and in pain since purchasing the new and improved Tempur Pedic hybrid bed one year ago.

I have back problems. easy set up. slept on it the same day it came in. It's like sleeping on a cloud. I get a good night rest. you don't even know it has springs in it. I would purchase it over again and highly recommend.
