We bought this microwave after 15 years to replace our previous GE microwave. It is the exact replica except the color is silver rather than black finish. It seems to have an added lock feature on it . Very happy with it. We don’t need a larger microwave so this suits our specific needs.

It is expensive but it fits in the space!

I bought this model to replace an old GE PEM31SFSS microwave that had peeling paint on the interior, and touch controls that would freeze, requiring a reboot. This new model was the only microwave on the planet that I could buy and still fit in the space (13"D x 11"H x 24W). It's quiet and has Wi-Fi, but the reheat function for a plate requires three button steps instead of just one on the old model. Shutting the door is a little louder than the last model, the overall feel isn't as polished as the old model, but I'm sure the microwave will be fine in the long run.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Adequate Performance:Hanging Holes Misaligned

The microwave performs adequately. Quality control issue with misalignment of holes placement making it nearly impossible to connect to the cabinetry hanging kit. Holes in top of microwave weren’t drilled in alignment. If it wasn’t the only small device available for the undercabinet space, we would have purchased an alternative brand.

Microwave seems ok trim kit is terrible

The microwave seems like the old one which it replaced. The trim kit is terrible. The original trim kit was better fitting and sleeker. This trim kit looks like it was an afterthought. Terrible design

Quality Control Issues - Nearly Impossible to hang

GE’s quality control is clearly in question. Misaligned holes drilled into top of microwave in no way align to hanging kit.
