The pen works about 50% of the time. However there are many times where it is really sensitive and would begin creating markings before it even comes in contact with the tablet surface. It makes taking notes for classes extremely annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2016 I purchased an Apple MacBook... the last of the DVD drive versons... spent over $2,000 on it. I hated it. It remonded me of a really bad version of Windows 3.11... I finally had enough. I really no longer need the power of a Windows machine, frankly not totally impressed with Windows 10. I had a Toshiba Chromebook that I have been primarily used in my gym to chromecast to my television... A Chromebook is what I decided to replace my Macbook. After conducting my research, I decided that I would select the Lenovo 13" Flex 5. The build quality is awesome... keyboard superb...I'm not really using the touchscreen much... I bought a pen from Lenovo but really haven't used it yet. I haven;t figured how to turn off the touchscreen. I went ahead and installed Office 365 and it works adequately. I am totally happy with this ChromeBook! It's wonderful!

2 Different Pens Same Issue...

I have had two different pens and the same issue on both of them. When using it with a Chromebook Duet the sensitivity is too strong and it will activate when the pen is not touching the screen. This issue is apparent when researching about this pen with no solution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
