A great addition to our garage. We had to use anchors because the screws were not long enough.

Easiest Ring Setup Yet

I have set up various Ring Devices for family and friends; the Indoor Cam (2nd Gen) was by far the easiest to set up in my home. It connected quickly to the network and had no issues whatsoever with use, clarity, and sharing access to the cameras with other family members. The signal strength has been very good to excellent. I have close to 40 devices (7 Ring devices) connected to my network and have had no issues with interference. Finally, my wife loves the privacy function which is included with this camera.

Love my indoor cam!

Love, love, love this Indoor Cam. This camera is easy to set up. Set up only takes a couple of minutes and all you have to do is follow simple prompts. It works great and is very reliable. There ia a built in cover that you just slide into place for privacy. Clever!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Camera w/ cover

I have one camera that does not have the cover that closes. So I thought this would be idea ; so while we are outside the warning would not keep going off. This is a camera that is only good for daytie use. At night no matter how many drapes ect you have on the window this camera reflects back off window and does not show outside. I chose not to take it back ; will use it for an inside camera only...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It sounds like you are trying to use your Ring Indoor Cam to face outside a window. If your camera is facing a window, you may get distorted images at night. You can disable the infrared light within the app to try to eliminate the glare. The infrared light control is in your Ring app under Video Settings. Has really clear views.

I bought my first cameras in 2020. I've added to them since I have my wheelchair bound mom move in. I love that I can check on her. Pictures are really clear. The cameras have brought me peace of mind.

Overall great cameras

I have numerous ring cameras. One of the last ones ordered took me several times of reconnecting before it stayed connected. It is only about 10 ft from the router. So far after about a week, it is staying connected. Over all, I am very happy with the clarity and ring cameras. I am sure the camera I had an issue with was just a blip.
