I like the Indoor Cam. I have 2 of these. They do a good job looking over things. I was glad I bought the Ring cameras and
Doorbell. They are helpful in keeping an eye on my house.

Gives me peace of mind

I bought this indoor cam to monitor my little Cody. He’s a 16-year-old bichon Yorky mix who started to have seizures. So worried what was going on when we were not home I got this indoor cam to monitor him while we’re not home. So now we can keep an eye on him and not worry if he’s OK. Best investment we could’ve made.

I plugged in the camera and connected the camera in minutes. I don't like that the camera only faces one direction. So it went back

It sounds like there was some confusion regarding the field of view the Ring Indoor Cam offers. The Ring Indoor Cam features a 143-degree diagonal, 115-degree horizontal, and 59-degree vertical field of view. Ring Indoor Cam can be mounted anywhere indoors on its own stand or mounted to a wall or ceiling. This allows you to find the best location for an optimal view of the area you want to monitor. I only used this once while I was out for the day. There wasn't any movement for it to capture while I was out, so it only got me as I was walking out and coming back in when I returned home. It appeared to be working fine for the limited time it was used.

My 2nd Generation Ring Indoor Camera is everything you have come to expect from Ring. Ease of setup. Perfect access. Great picture quality. Affordable price.

I bought it due to price. I had a Gen 1 that I really like. Gen 2, while works fine, is but a shell of the Gen 1. Does not stay in place due to light weight of product(plastic v metal), but it adequate for our use. Using at 2nd home, is able to be added to current phone app so both places can be viewed, but it's a bit obnoxious that one has to have a separate account(ie, pay more) to continue recordings. Setup process was a breeze. Again, operation is marginal due to quality/weight of item. Camera seems adequate. Would recommend to those knowing what they're really buying depending on their need. I'd rather have a Gen 1 at the same price.
