Nice quality image with little distortion. Picture is great even on iPad or cell phone. Ring is quality company and instructions make i5 simple to troubleshoot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this camera!! The wide angle lens covers my entire living room. It was very easy to set up and the audio quality is great! Plus the size allows it to blend in easily. Would definitely recommend to a friend!!

Wonderful features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to keep an eye on my animals while I was gone during the day. This works great. I now know what mischief they are getting into. I will be purchasing another one and placing it upstairs. A great deal for the money.

Love the camera and the sottware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Riny indoor camera is great. It has an awesome picture quality. Very clear picture.
Software is very well made. I can open and turn on the live view in seconds. There is no real lag time.
Picture is HD. So I can zoom in on my phone and still see things clearly.
It is very responsive with all the alerts on motion and sound. And snooze functionality is great to ensure you don't keep getting notifications when you are in the house.
I have this camera sitting inside he hous by the doo way home or alert me when someone comes in. And works great.
It has few days of free trial for cloud storage of your videos. And hen just $30 per year.
I'd recommend

Great camera, app issues???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so the camera itself is very good. Excellent picture, in daylight or dark. Has a wide field of view and you can zoom in and out easily. Motion detection and other features. It has good two-way sound with a clear microphone and speaker. Along with versatile mounting options so you can place it in a variety of locations.
The only issue I would complain about is the app which controls the camera. I wish there was more choices/options to control how the camera works, ie - only record/turn on when in away mode. I have to set motion alerts off because my phone would ping every time I move in my living room. Hopefully Ring will update the features down the road. Download is ok, set up is pretty quick and simple, the issue is that the app is unstable and very buggy!
I have excellent high-speed home WiFi and unlimited 4G cellphone data but more often than not the app video will either not load, lock up, freeze, go out of focus or there is a horrible delay!
I noted this issue was reported by numerous users in the RING App reviews, so it is not a problem with my setup.
I really want to like this camera but the excellent hardware is let down by slow buggy software in the app!
So if you buy it, be aware of the issues...

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose to use this camera in our kids' playroom. This camera is incredibly easy to install. The app is also very easy to use. I appreciate the feature of recording video when it senses movement. The audio works well when we listen through the app. However, the audio is difficult to understand from where the camera is installed. So, we can hear what the kids say when they are playing, but they can't understand what we say to them when we try to talk to them through the app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to configure, install and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to the Stick-Up Cam, this packs in a lot of the same features (motion detection, 2-way audio,140 degree field of view, can set it when you’re away from home, etc.) just in a smaller package. This Ring indoor cam is so easy to configure, install and use, it even has two-way chat and siren, so you can talk to your pet's while your at work. It's also mountable if you need to place it on a wall. I would highly recommend this camera for the quality and ease of use.
