I use one indoor ring camera in my kids room. Its very easy for me to have an eye to my toddler while is sleeping. I used other cameras but they don’t have a large range if you go too far from the house. So i decided to try ring and very happy bc i can enjoy evening in my backyard and also access my kids while sleeping

Ring camera is good for inside the house

Pros: Cost Daylight video Easy Setup Cons: Hardware that comes with it will not mount into studs (screws too shallow). Power cord is a proprietary micro USB (plug recessed deep on the camera) so unable to use just any micro-usb plug. Night video has issues keeping everything in focus (blurry top of the screen) The camera itself is incredibly small, almost the size of the ring doorbell itself. Setting it up was a breeze if you already have a Ring device. Took me 15 minutes to get the camera up and running and added to my existing Ring app. The video quality is on par with the other devices in the daylight. No complaints about that. The night vision however, seems like it has some issues. I've noticed that anything on the top of the screen comes off blurry and out of focus in night vision.

These cameras are so versatile. They are great for home security with their easy installation and app. They are also great if you have kiddos. We’ve used them as a monitor. I wish I could set sound alerts in the app so I knew if a baby was crying, but other than that I don’t have any improvement suggestions. These cameras have great quality sound, 2 way talk, and picture. The app is so easy to use and is integrated into so many things, like AppleHome Kit and Alexa. The process is good and these last forever. I’d highly suggest Ring!

My husband bought this to monitor my baby active. It has wide view. It can zoom in and out. It has the blue light for night mode which helps you can see things clear at night.

Great for indoor use to view outdoor areas of home

I needed security cameras but didn’t want to mount cameras outside my home. I use these inside, facing outwards on my window sills and I’m able to have views of all areas of my home. App is very user friendly and has a lot of great options for customizing views.

Quick to install, easy to use app

Hung one from the roof in my basement and it was super easy to invert the camera to not be upside down on screen. Great picture. Excellent motion detection. The app makes it very easy to swap between my different cameras and hear what’s happening in each location.

Great video quality

We purchased the Ring Indoor Camera so we could keep an eye on our pup while we were at work. I love that it is motion sensored and can give a glimpse into his daily routine whenever we are connected to WiFi.
