I want you to create a camera when l put it inside the house in front of a window there is no reflection
I have my stick up facing the window looking outside, but at night! All l get is the reflection of the camera!

So build a camera that when place in it in front of a window at night l do not get its reflection, but an outside view of the night life and keeping an outside recording of the night.
That what l want to see Ring do now because l can’t afford to put camera outside but l can put it by the window to look outside especially for night time!

Geofencing

Camera and functions are great. Love Ring products and the way they work together. Just not automatically going to Armed mode via geofencing had me return all but two inside cameras as I had thrown away the boxes. Switched to another brand that will arm via geofencing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Ring Geofencing,
Geo-fence is a virtual boundary you can draw around the Location your Ring devices are set up using the Ring app. Drawing a Geo-fence helps automate certain features from your Ring devices that you may find useful.
For instance: When you come home and enter the Geo-fence, your Ring app can automatically snooze alerts from all your Ring devices. When you exit a Geo-fence, the Ring app can remind you to set your Mode* to "Away" – or, a state in which your designated Ring cameras actively detect motion and more.
Ring Alarm and all Ring Alarm accessories require a subscription for digital notifications, in-app features, digital arming/disarming, and integration with other Ring, Echo, and third party products. Great little add-on

Just purchased the indoor cam (gen2) mainly to replace the Canary indoor cam (which was relocated). And WOW what great clarity and resolution. Plus I like that the doorbell and inside can are on the ring dashboard

Better than Gen 1

I’ve had 4 Gen 1 Ring Indoor Camaro’s. Liked them, but they’re not so great against a window. Prime Day I got 6 Gen 2’s and they are way better against a window. Only thing I miss I’d the ability to remove the base and screw in a flexible clamp. That said, with the Prine Day discount, I was able to get a better price than my Wyze cameras, replaced them all and now have the Indoor Cameras in the same app as my Floodlight Cameras, Alarm, and Doorbell Pro. Personally, I don’t really need the cover. You could have them go on and off with a smart plug and routine.

Love all RING devices

I have over 15 devices from RING. We have them on all properties and haven’t had issues with them. The new member of the camera family was the indoor RING with ability to have privacy had been amazing. The door is very easy to engage or disengage the camera & audio. I used it to keep an eye on my animals when I have to leave home.

Great cameras but

I like the cameras but wish they would automatically switch between home and away when I leave the house. I have geo fence turned on but what does it do? I have to remember to turn on and off manually, real pane. I have 2 homes with ring products and automation with coming and going should be a standard feature.
