Peace of Mind

I travel quite a bit, so it is very convenient to turn on the motion sense when I know I'll be gone. The Ring app makes is very easy to check in remotely, and gives me peace of mind when I'm on the road. I highly recommend.

Great experience overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a really complicated setup for indoor monitoring for our dog, we just like to keep track of her during the day. I had three cameras and ran a server on my home computer to stream their video to an app. It was a lot of work.
With the economical Ring Indoor Cam, I was able to set it up with a few taps on the app and it just worked. I tried the free trial of their enhanced video service Ring Protect and it was great to be able to save videos and look back in history, however I'm not sure I'll need the history—and you can still use the camera to see live video and receive motion alerts even without a subscription. A neat feature is that you can talk through the camera as well as hear, so if we notice our dog getting into the trash or if we just want to say hi, we can, and the sound quality is pretty good.
Overall it's a "just works" solution that I've been happy with. As for security, definitely set up a good password and 2-factor authentication—those are recommended procedures for any internet account. I expect Ring, owned by Amazon, is on top of improvements in this area. I'll continue using it.

Easy set up

They usually play well together when in their play room but that's not always the case. So this camera works great for keeping an eye on them and getting after them with the two way talk! They hate it. I love it. Lol! Now they know mommy really has eyes everywhere!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this camera! I have one setup inside the house for a front porch view. It alerts us to anyone arriving from the front. It is very user friendly, the App is user friendly with customizable settings and features. We have a second camera upstairs on the kids, which is linked to our Alexa in the kitchen as well. I can turn on the speaker and talk to the kids without having to stop what I'm doing. Very easy to set up! Uses little space on devices, able to be installed on multiple devices so my husband and I both have access! Clear, precise pictures. Get you one or two!

It's super easy to set up...plug it in, press one button to sync to the app I installed and then you are good to go!! I am buying several more now that I know how well this works!!!

Perfect indoor camera for our playroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently installed this camera in our upstairs play room as our 5 and 8 year olds want their independence but like to try daredevil stunts while we are downstairs. The range and view is good, it tied in easily with our doorbell system and it is like having a babysitter upstairs with no added fee. I would highly recommend at its reasonable price!
