Great indoor camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a camera and system from my local cable company. I already had a ring doorbell, so I wanted to try this. The camera is much better and has a light for nighttime viewing, plus it has 2 way talk. Much better. I am paying for the ring bell to save video. I don't know if I'll upgrade my plan to save video from this device as well. Really easy to setup if you already have a system. Just have it look for new devices and it will auto add them.

Small camera, great HD picture!

We already have a Ring Doorbell cam, so we're familiar with Ring and their app, but if this is your first Ring product, you're going to love it. It's a small camera, small enough to be placed or mounted just about anywhere. Setting it up is extremely easy. The app is well designed and very easy to use and navigate. The picture is HD, very clear, not at all blurry or pixelated. The motion detection works very well, and you can customize your motion detection settings and areas. You'll get notifications on your phone or tablet when the camera has detected motion, you can view your camera feed from anywhere, and it will record any motion events for you. There's also 2 way audio - listen and speak through the camera and app. The night vision view looks good as well. This camera does not pan or tilt, it stays in a fixed position, and after the 30 day trial that's included with purchase you will need to pay to subscribe to one of their Ring Protect plans if you want the 60 recording and storage. Overall it's a fantastic little camera. I'll definitely be buying a few more for other areas of my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up this camera was an absolute cinch. Plugged it in and installed the app and done. It does a great job of picking up motion and notifies me remotely. This is about as easy as it gets. I’m not a big security guy so I was skeptical as to whether or not I would like it, but it’s definitely growing on me.

Does what it should do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is good, and the motion detection worked really well. This thing even picked up on my cat moving in the far background. I like that it also picks up audio of the events happening. Just be sure to turn of the notifications when people are home, or you will get notified all the time.
What really helps is that when you're reviewing video captured, you can swipe through the event where you can speed up or slow down, You can review a minute's worth of video in just a second or two.
If you're looking for an indoor cam, I don't see how you can go wrong with this one.

We are having a deck installed in our back yard and wanted to watch the progress. I put the camera on the inside of our sliding glass door and it works fantastic! I get notifications when anyone is there working As well as can just watch anytime. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their eyes on what’s going on at their home.

The minimum requirement is to power the device, connect it to your home WiFi, and for the most convenient setup include the Ring app (available in the Google Play Store for androids or the iOS App Store for iPhones) this enables anytime monitoring and 2-way communications with your secured space while you’re away on your mobile phone.
I think this is perfect for a home and especially in case of renters who may not want to lock themselves into an expensive long term subscription. The Ring Indoor Cam includes a free 30 day trial of Ring Protect, thereafter it’s only $3 a month ($30 a year) with one device on a basic plan or $10 monthly ($100 annually) for multiple Ring devices both subscription plans enable you to store Ring activity online.
The camera can rest on its stand or mounted on the wall or ceiling with ease to capture your desired view. You may find one camera covers enough or you add more cameras for multiple angles or additional spaces.

He's gone a lot at work and this gives them a fun way to communicate. This would also be great for use as a baby monitor! Love it!! Great picture! Highly recommend!
