[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 12,000 BTU Frigidaire air conditioner with this new 10,000 BTU Frigidaire air conditioner. My 12,000 was much better and much quieter than this new 10,000 btu ac. I only got rid of the 12,000 because it stayed on after shutting it off something electrical wish I kept it.

Much louder than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I def wouldn’t call this a “quiet” AC and whatever is going on at home, this will be the loudest thing in the room. So much so that you’ll have to turn the volume up on everything else, and don’t even pretend you’ll be able to sleep in the same room with the unit going.

These are typical air conditioner sounds; "gurgling or hissing" noises may be heard during normal operation due to refrigerant passing through the evaporator. The fan at the front of the unit may provide the sound of rushing air. During normal operation, water droplets hitting the condenser may produce "pinging or swishing" sounds. Furthermore, high-pitched chatter may occur throughout the cooling cycle with today's high-efficiency compressors. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice unit. Handles a 450 sq ft cabana house nicely. Like the remote as unit it is in wall and high up. So far very good. I would recommend.

I've owned three Frigidaire window units. The BTU's are correct for the room size, but the units don't cool especially in humid weather.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The units powerful enough to cool my bedroom down in minutes. Room is 19’x 14’ . The fan unit can feel when standing across the room from the ac . Only setback is the high fan settings can be a little louder than I would like but I just lowered it down to quiet it up. I would definitely recommend this unit.
