The antenna provided me a flexible, serviceable, and priced right option for my Jeeps GMRS radio needs. The antenna design allows it to flex as we are driving in the northeast woods without me worrying if it would break. I have found it provides a clear signal at a greater distance then my past setup on the Jeep. I was concerned the flex design would cause the paint to crack like may past antenna from another company but no sign of cracking. I recommend the product and will purchase another one for my second vehicle. Thank for making a great product!!

I installed this antenna as a dedicated GMRS whip to replace a dual band mag mount I'd used before. I immediately noticed greater simplex range and way better interaction with our local repeater. The reception clarity and range from the repeater has improved a lot. Because of the spring base on this antenna, it suits usage on my Jeep much better.

Upgraded to the MXTA26 6db antenna from the small, included antenna that came with my MXT275 and was very impressed with the improvements in the performance of the radio. Reception is now from as far away as 60 miles across a mountain range and transmission that markedly improved though have not tested that to the fullest yet - but am able to hear (barely, a 2.5 watt handheld) and be clearly heard at our post office 6 miles away over a mountain ridge - impressive! This is a must have upgrade for any kind of serious use of the radio system to get any real range; don't skimp on this piece.

I have had this Antenna for 2 weeks it took about ten minutes to install and hide all the wires. It made it through freezing fog and while I considered tieing the antenna back it held up suprisingly well due to flexibility after a while the ice started breaking up and falling free. Definitely wish they could have a heated option. Range of communication is amazing while before having mer 1-2 miles now getting 10-15 with heavy trees and hills as a surrounding area most times but clear hill to hill I haven't found its limits yet, further testing is required on my part.

I’ve been patiently waiting for Midland to make these available along with the NMO cable so I could mount this on my truck roof. It took about 10 minutes to install the antenna and it works great. Looks pretty sharp too.

I had a flat SWR across the entire GMRS band, (including repeater offsets) right out of the box. No tuning was necessary. It is rugged and well made. I have made contact with another person using the same antenna from 25 miles away. A solid copy! You won't regret buying this antenna!

I’ve had this antenna mounted on my roof racks for about 2 weeks now and love it. I’ve used it multiple times already and has worked great. I have multiple midland products and love them all. I just drove some pretty tight trails and the antenna held up to every branch that hit it.
