I have a Wyze Floodlight Pro by my driveway and it has worked well since day one. This camera was difficult to setup, I finally got it to record an event but it has stopped after one day. I'm not too keen about needing a Cam+ to record an event to my SD Card. It looks like this will be mainly a high tech motion detecting floodlight. I have other Wyze products, scale, smart plugs and indoor camera. I'm kind of wishing I hadn't bought this camera.
I bought 4 of these and have mounted one, so far works fantastic! Love the control of the light intesity at both times. Very easy to set up and it is weorking perfeectly.
I got the device installed and it seems to work ok. I'm dissapointed it's not eligible for Cam Plus Lite service I use on my other Wyze cams. I would not have purchased and can't recommend these since they seem to require per-device Cam Plus subscription for full functionality.
V2 vs. V1 - Better picture quality, fewer features

After failure of a V1 Floodlight (less than 1 year old), I took the refund and applied it to the purchase of a V2 Floodlight. The picture quality is better than the V1 but I miss the ability to add a 2nd camera. The wider FoV somewhat makes up for this but isn't as flexible. Also, I've found the V2 motion detection sensitivity hard to get right. There are more adjustments available so maybe I just haven't figured it out yet. The light comes on without any noticable motion. Adjusting the sensitivity down hasn't eliminated the false detections while still providing activation on "real" motion. Also, the "Sound Sensitivity" setting from V1 doesn't seem to be supported on V2 nor is the "Record Sound" option. I'm not disappointed with the purchase since I got the special pricing during initial release. I just expected a V2 to include all V1 features.
