The only thing I do not like about this camera is that the camera has to be on for the floodlight to work with motion detection. I wish there was a way for the floodlights to work with motion detection without having the camera on and recording. Otherwise, the picture is great, the wide angle of the lens covers my entire backyard.

The floodlight itself is decent quality and was pretty simple to install. Not sure how well it will endure the outside elements. My biggest issue was adjusting the sensitivity and notifications. I’m not sure if it’s the cam plus AI features that are the issue or the way the detection settings work. I really wish there was a little more detail in the set up guide or online.

Wyze has simplified the whole installation process. The ability to group your cameras to say inside vs outside and have the entire group on screen at the same time is fantastic. The camera has the ability to capture great footage but for some reason it doesn’t do it. Maybe if you purchase the cam plus monthly subscription you might get the full resolution. I did purchase the cam plus and found it interfered with how I use the cameras so I canceled it. I’m not using them for security but rather monitoring parents and they work great for that.
