This spotlight cam is a substantial improvement over my original cam. I love the wide angle which showed my whole side .yard. My. Old cam only showed my driveway running next to my house. When I zoom in the 2k makes the view very clear.

Mounted my unit up under the ledge horizontally. The angle of the camera will not allow me to see upwards to the backyard. Has to point almost towards the area directly below. Wish the camera had more movement.

I have been unable to set it up because I was unaware that I need a junction box and electrician. I have other Wyze cameras inside the house that I simply connect to outlet that work great.

Very high resolution camera and good coverage, easy to install and activate. But issue with extreme sensitivity with one camera in regards to activating floodlight and lack of activation for voice notification of area intrusion with the other camera.

Easy install and set up since I replaced a previous model. My complaint is with the floodlight. During darkness the light goes on all the time. I have it set for 15 seconds and the light goes on and off so much I needed up turning the motion portion of the floodlight off. Kinda defeats the purpose. I’ve used all three sensitivity settings and it doesn’t make a difference. With the light activating dozens of times an hour, during darkness, I can say the camera has never captured anything. I’ve never had a motion activating floodlight so useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
