The installation was easy. I only have two negatives ... The camera resolution is not great. The other negative it only takes stills. It should take short videos, like the other cameras are able to do, without having to subscribe.
It's good. Really good. But there's one thing that keeps it from being great. The led light is especially harsh. A warmer light would be much better. I have to leave early in the morning and this light is just low enough to shine in my eyes when I back out. It reminds me of the obnoxious led automobile lights I'll have to be staring at while on the way to work.
I found it easy to install, remove the old Lights and hocked light up was able to do the whole thing with my Android phone stand on my ladder Got everything positioned and it is still functioning great
So far I am not very happy with the Wyze Cam Floodlight v2. I keeps going off-line, even after it is reset. I replaced my old Ring flood, it never went off-line, it just wasn't HD so we replaced it with the v2.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this to replace a cabled light /camera. the old camera could be shut off and the light would still come on, since we only used it when we were gone. This one the camera has to be on in order for the light to work, which leads to a whole bunch of unnecessary videos, and the sensitivity is all over the place, it will pick up a car going by 250 feet away but not a person 20 feet away? the light is plenty bright at least
Have this installed to replace an old spotlight and spent hours trying to get it to connect to my WiFi. I have split my network and have a separate 2.4Ghz SSID. Still will not pair or connect. Forums and other troubleshooting hasn't helped fix. I can't stand hearing it say "waiting to connect..." anymore that I have given up for now. Might return it.
