Okay quality for the price, but doesn't work well if you plan to have shared users like a partner, roommate, parent, etc. The only way for them to be able to access footage is everyone sharing the same account, which means you can't tailor alerts or settings individually. You also can't view event videos from the event page, only photos unless you pay for a cloud subscription fee which defeated the purpose of local storage and is what made this company stand out from the competition. You can do a work-around from the main page but you shouldn't have to. It would be perfect and I would buy more if these issues were fixed, I'm still looking at other options for additional cameras. I can't speak to longevity yet. I will update with any changes.
I mounted my unit above my garage doors. The hard3st part of the installation was climbing up my drop down latter to the attic. The lights really light up my driveway the moment someone or something starts walking up my driveway.
The Floodlight v2 is a nice floodlight, better than the v1 but not as good as the Floodlight Pro. With the price difference there will be also be a quality difference. For a better quality distance viewing with minimal quality degradation I'd recommend the Floodlight Pro, if you're on a budget then the Floodlight v2 is a good choice.

Great price, quick delivery, easy to install and start up. Camera has a wide field of vision and the lights are bright, I’ve kept them at the 80% default setting. Just what we needed, thanks!
It has improved since I first got it but it's still very inconsistent. It still misses notifications and recordings it is properly set up to trigger. I don't feel confident that it will trigger when needed, like I am with other wyze products. The floodlight triggers randomly at night no matter the sensitivity setting. I'm keeping it because I know wyze products always improve with firmware and software over time but I think this particular product needed a bit more testing before sending it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
